If your team experiences challenges or difficult situations that limit the team’s potential to further develop, I can offer to facilitate session(s) and ensure that relevant topics and input are “on the table”. In these sessions, I make sure that we deal with the issues that are bringing you forward as a team. As part of this service, I offer team tools and tests.

A good day at work
Everyone comes to work with an intention and hope for a good day. I have yet to meet someone who says, “I hope for a really bad day at work, where my boss complains and my employees/colleagues are upset, demotivated, and against everything I say and do.” We all want a good day at work, where we feel like we’re contributing and making a positive impact throughout the day.
It affects the bottom line when there’s noise, challenges, petty conflicts, and a lack of cooperation. You need to stop downward spirals, , find a solution to retain good employees and safeguard your business. Therefore, finding a solution to retain good employees and safeguard your earnings is crucial.
Throughout your career, you will encounter times when it’s no longer enjoyable, motivating, or developmental to go to work. This is where I can help uncover what’s weighing on you and assist in identifying conditions that can be improved, as well as those that cannot be changed. Together with you and/or the company, I will create a plan with activities to move forward and build a positive workplace where collaboration works.
Toxic work environment
In my career, I have experienced many teams that, for various reasons, didn’t function well—where there was behind-the-scenes talk, poor collaboration, and employees went home with a bad feeling and even became sick from a toxic work environment.
As an HR professional, I have been contacted by the manager or the manager’s manager and given insight into the situation within the department/team. I’ve asked questions to gather as much understanding as possible about what’s going on, how it’s manifesting, who’s involved, and what roles those affected have within the team. This way, the leader and I can form a shared picture of the team. After that, I proposed one or more activities and facilitated them to help move things forward and improve the work environment within the team.
These activities could range from conversations with affected employees, sessions with the entire team, sessions with part of the team, or sessions with several departments—depending on what makes sense. The key element is to create a space where people can talk about what’s weighing on them, gain insight into what different employees think and believe, and focus on what brings us together and helps us move forward as a team.
